Istoricul obiectului
Deutsch: Das Wappen des Landkreises Dillingen an der Donau wurde am 19. Oktober 1973 von der Regierung Schwaben verliehen. Der goldene Löwe steht sowohl für die ehemalige Grafschaft Dillingen als auch für die Landvogtei Höchstädt und zugleich für den früheren Landkreis Dillingen. Der schwarze Stauferlöwe symbolisiert den ehemaligen Landkreis Wertingen und die Lilie entstammt dem Dillinger Stadtwappen.
English: The arms were granted on October 19, 1973. The lion or is taken from the previous arms of the former district of Dillingen and symbolise the former County of Dillingen and the bailiwick of Höchstädt as well. The black lion is taken from the arms of the former district of Wertingen and the fleur-de-lis was descended from the arms of the city of Dillingen.
