The official response to an inquiry about the participation of the Jewish soldiers in the war. It gives the total number of Jewish soldiers recommended for decoration (1.8% of the total number: as compared to Russians 67.3%, Ukrainians 17.9%, Belarusians 2.9%). Some anti-Semites attempted to accuse Jews of the lack of patriotism and of hiding from the military service.
