English: Upon arriving at McClellan Air Force Base 7 miles northeast of Sacramento, California at 3:10 PM[1] on September 5, 1975 after the 10:04 am assassination attempt by Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme on his life, President Ford waits to board Air Force One and return to Washington. Also shown are Secret Service agents, including Larry Buendorf in foreground with sunglasses, and Chief of Staff Don Rumsfeld (descending ramp of plane).
