Linwood Vrooman Carter (n. 9 iunie 1930, St. Petersburg, Florida, SUA – d. 7 februarie 1988, Montclair, New Jersey, New Jersey, SUA) a fost un scriitor american de literatură fantastică și științifico-fantastică. A publicat de obicei sub numele Lin Carter, dar a folosit și pseudonime ca H. P. Lowcraft (o parodie a numelui H. P. Lovecraft) și Grail Undwin. În anii 1970, a fost redactor al seriei Ballantine Adult Fantasy.
