Science versus philosophy

If you look at wiki articles "Science","philosophy of science" and "scientific method", yu will see that science is something which originally evolved from philosophy (physics was "natural philosophy"). But, later, a strict separation between the two became necessary. As for theology, i do not agree that it is a science because mayn aspects of it are dogmatic and not falsifiable. But, according to Paul Feyerabend, anything goes, so we can argue on this. No doubt about it, philosophy has much more to do with science than religion (or its "scientific" study - theology) does.--Arado 24 noiembrie 2006 01:27 (EET)
