Infobox television season parameters and basic guidelines

season_name	required	Season name. The series title will be automatically italicised. e.g. NCIS (season 1) will appear as NCIS (season 1)	plain text
bgcolour	optional	Six-digit hex code used to colour header rows. Must include a hash symbol (#) before the code. e.g #81a6e3	hex code
fgcolour		Six-digit hex code used to colour the text in header rows. Must include a hash symbol (#) before the code. e.g #000000
image		A suitable, wikilinked image including width in pixels and alt text, as required by . e.g. [[File:Example.png|230px|Alt text]] Typically the image will be DVD cover art, although this is not mandated. Free content should be used where available.	wikilinked image including width and alt text
caption		A caption for the image	wikitext, may include links
country	optional, desirable	Country of origin. Country names should not be linked as they are considered to be major geographic locations and, as per WP:OVERLINK, major geographic locations are not linked.	plain text
num_episodes		Number of episodes in the season. This field should remain empty until the season has finished airing.	number
network		name of the network or channel on which the season aired.	wikitext, may include links
first_aired		Date the season commenced airing, using {{Start date}}. e.g. {{Start date|2011|9|23}}	date formatted using {{Start date}}. Use "|df=y" when appropriate.
last_aired		Date the season finished airing, using {{End date}}. e.g. {{End date|2012|5|17}} While the season is airing, {{End date|present}} should be used.	date formatted using {{End date}}. Use "|df=y" when appropriate.
