Sapfan
Hi! My name is Jan Pešula. I was born and raised in the Czech Republic, but currently live in Denmark.
I am sorry I cannot speak or write in Romanian. Therefore, you will only see me here infrequently, mainly adding pictures to articles.
My "home" is Czech Wikipedia and Czech Wikisource. I maintain a list of public-domain portraits in Czech and Austrian magazines of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, then look for suitable ones, upload them to Commons and place them in all articles across wikiprojects where they can add value, regardless of language version. If I can, then I do the same with photographs from my own travels. I also wrote about 250 illustrated biographies in Czech Wikipedia (among others, the Czech version of Jan Urban Jarník) and several articles in en.wiki, mainly relating to rail transport in Central America which I visited several times in 2004-2008.
This is all from me - given the language barrier (and my time constraints), there will probably never be much what we can do for each other here. Enjoy both your beautiful country and this exciting project!
If you want, you can check my personal website (last updated in 2007) with an illustrated travelogue of my trip to Moldova and Romania in the same year.
