Wikipedia în română este o enciclopedie cu conținut liber care a luat naștere în iulie 2003. De atunci s-au stabilit o serie de principii definite de comunitate. Vă rugăm să vă rezervați ceva timp pentru a lua la cunoștință câteva dintre acestea înainte de a începe editarea pe Wikipedia.

Aceasta este pagina dumneavoastră de discuție, unde puteți primi mesaje de la alți wikipediști. Pentru a lăsa un mesaj unui alt wikipedist scrieți-i pe pagina sa de discuție; altfel, acesta nu va fi notificat. La sfârșitul mesajului trebuie să vă semnați tastând ~~~~ sau prin apăsarea butonului „creion” așa cum reiese din imaginea alăturată. Luați aminte că în articole nu se pune semnătura. Aveți la dispoziție propria pagină de utilizator (vedeți sus de tot unde scrie Martin Urbanec (WMF)) în care vă puteți organiza activitatea la Wikipedia și în care puteți să vă prezentați pe dumneavoastră ca wikipedist, dar nu înainte de a citi regulile aferente paginii de utilizator; evitați să scrieți în pagina dumneavoastră CV-uri sau informații fără legătură cu Wikipedia. Rețineți faptul că editările în conflict de interese contravin principiilor Wikipedia și că editările în articole pe subiecte în care aveți un interes pecuniar sunt supuse unor restricții suplimentare.

@NGC 54 Thanks for leaving a message for me! This is a really interesting issue, I didn't witness anything like this. I will create a task at Phabricator for this, and notify our team's QA engineer, who will look on how it happens, so we can fix this bug. Thanks for letting me know!

Translations are updated each week, they're not available at the wikis immediately. A new set of translations should arrive each Thursday. Please do feel free to ping me if that does not happen for any reason.

@NGC 54 I'm afraid it's not only temporary :/. It happens for me in rowiki (and I'm not a ro.wikipedia mentor) on almost every homepage load. I filled this as T275429: Homepage mentor is not stored persistently at Romanian Wikipedia into Phabricator, the bug-tracking system the Wikimedia Foundation uses, and we'll definitely look into why it is happening. @NGC 54 Hello, thanks for the question! There is a limit, but it's not defined by the number of templates one can use (I can explain the details if interested). However, as I believe @Trizek (WMF) noted previously, not necessary to include all templates, as long as it provides a reasonable amount of suggestions, it is fine. Does this make sense? I would like to find out the details. {{Ciot}} ("Stub" template) is not enough for "Expanding article" task, because on ro.wp there are a lot of stub-templates; {{Ciot}} is just the classic one. See also this comment. --NGC 54 (discuție / contribuții) 23 februarie 2021 18:43 (EET)

@NGC 54 Sure, here you go (do let me know if any of the information sound too technical for you).

When generating suggestions, the system takes the templates from the configuration file, and translates them to a search query. The query looks like this: https://w.wiki/32Do.

The search engine imposes a maximum limit of ~2k characters per a search query. So, if the generated query is too long, the suggestions generator may behave incorrectly.

You can overcome this issue by using nested templates. For instance, you can create a template {{stub flag}}, which will be included in all stub-related templates. It won't have any output, it would exist only to flag the template as stub-related one. You would then be able to only use "Stub flag" in the configuration flag, because the system would recognize that template is included through another template.
